Plain-language explanation of what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Last updated: July 2026
The short version
We collect only what you choose to send us through a form, an email, or a phone call. We use it to reply to you and to help connect you with resources. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and we do not share it with anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the Get Help form or the Contact form, we receive what you typed into it. Depending on the form, that may include your name, age, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, the pathway you are interested in, the kind of support you are looking for, what you told us about your situation, and the best time to reach you.
Please do not send us sensitive records. We do not ask for, and you should not send, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, or diagnosis details. If you send them anyway, we will delete them.
Information collected automatically
This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. Those logs exist for security and reliability. We also run our own privacy-respecting analytics using a single first-party cookie that counts visitors without identifying them — see our Cookie Policy. We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not use cookies to profile you or to follow you across other websites.
How we use your information
- To reply to your message or request
- To help identify resources, programs, and providers that may fit your situation
- To follow up with you as you take next steps, if you want us to
- To keep the website working, secure, and free of spam
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. Ever.
Who we share it with
We share your information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend, and this site is hosted by Vercel. These companies process the data only to deliver the service.
- With your permission. If you ask us to introduce you to a program, school, or provider, we will share only what you agree to share.
- When the law requires it. If we are legally required to disclose information, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm to someone, we may do so.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we may reasonably need them to help you, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Young people and this website
E&N Michelle Hope House works with teenagers and young adults, so we expect young people to use this site. We collect only what a visitor voluntarily submits. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

- You can ask what information we hold about you
- You can ask us to correct it
- You can ask us to delete it
- You can ask us to stop contacting you, at any time, for any reason

Links to other websites
Our Resource Directory and other pages link to outside organizations. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their policies before you share anything with them.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please keep the most sensitive details out of web forms and share them by phone instead if they are truly necessary.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use enmichellehopehouse.com after a change means the updated policy applies.
